About the Waste Site Cleanup Program

NEWMOA's waste site cleanup program focuses on issues of interest to state programs that have responsibility for the investigation and remediation of contaminated sites. Currently, the waste site cleanup program is working on:

• the redevelopment/reuse of contaminated property
• the use of innovative site characterization and remediation technologies
